Begin with a 4.5 mile bike ride from Pottstown to Historic Morlatton Village in Douglassville, Participants then take a guided tour of Morlatton Village’s four 18th century buildings. A short bike ride brings the group to Douglassville’s Ganshahawny Park where they eat a picnic lunch or dinner. After eating, the group receives a brief introduction to kayaking from outfitter Take it Outdoors Adventures before paddling back to Pottstown along the Schuylkill River.
